CAREERS · BUILT IN PUERTO RICO

Build the AI layer for healthcare operations.

Routina is hiring engineers, designers, and healthcare operators who want to build the connective tissue for how clinics, pharmacies, and logistics teams actually run. Real customers. Real revenue. Real engineering challenges.

Why Routina

Three reasons to spend your career here.

We're at the rare stage where the technical problems are genuinely hard, the customer pull is real, and the team is still small enough that what you build matters.

01

What we're building.

An agent orchestration runtime running on top of healthcare's existing systems — Epic, PrimeRx, RedSail, QBO, Slack, and more. MCP servers. Custom integrations. A meta-builder AI that lets operators design their own agent workforce in plain language. The technical surface area is wide and the product gets meaningfully better every quarter.

02

Where we're at.

43 enterprise customers across healthcare and logistics. Real revenue, not pre-revenue. Customers who use the platform every day to run intake, dispatch, refills, RPM, billing, and reporting. Capital raised, runway clear, hiring against demand — not against a thesis. We're past the "will anyone want this?" question.

03

How we work.

PR-headquartered with team members across the US. Bilingual EN/ES environment. Distributed-friendly with quarterly in-person sprints in San Juan. Ownership culture — we hire people who want to operate a function, not execute a ticket queue. Direct access to customers, the founders, and the actual decisions that shape the product.

What we offer

The practical stuff.

Compensation, benefits, and the working conditions that make all of the above feasible.

Competitive comp

Market-rate base salary for your role and location. Comp bands published internally — no sandbagging, no surprises.

Meaningful equity

Every full-time hire gets equity. We're a venture-backed company; you should benefit from the upside you help build.

Flexible time off

Take what you need, when you need it. Minimum two weeks/year — we'll remind you if you haven't.

Healthcare coverage

Medical, dental, vision for PR-based team members. Stipend for US-based contractors and team members.

Founder access

Direct working relationship with Adrian, Christopher, and the leadership team. No skip-level dynamics — we're still that small.

Distributed-friendly

PR HQ, distributed team. Quarterly all-team sprints in San Juan. Async-first day-to-day, sync when it matters.

Our values

Five principles we actually use.

Not slogans for the wall. The decisions we make at the table when we're choosing between two options.

01

Build for the operator, not the demo.

If a feature looks great in a deck but breaks on a Tuesday afternoon when a clinic actually uses it, we ship the boring version that survives Tuesday.

02

Customer data is sacred.

PHI doesn't show up in logs we can grep, slides we screenshot, or shortcuts we take. HIPAA-by-default isn't a feature — it's the substrate.

03

Ship the thing, then make it right.

We'd rather have a v1 in production with one customer next week than a v2 in design with no customer next quarter. Real users teach us what to build.

04

Operators talk to operators.

Our customers run pharmacies, clinics, logistics ops. We hire people who can have those conversations directly — not through a CSM screening filter.

05

Bilingual by default.

EN/ES across docs, support, and sales. Healthcare operators in Puerto Rico, the US South, and Latin America deserve native-language software, not translated software.

Open roles

We're always interested in exceptional people.

We hire against demand, not against a roadmap. If you're an exceptional engineer, designer, or healthcare operator and you'd want to work on what we're building, we want to know you — even if there's no specific role posted today.

Profiles we're particularly interested in:

  • Senior engineers — backend, full-stack, or platform. Ideally with experience around agentic systems, integrations, or healthcare data.
  • Forward-deployed engineers — comfortable embedding with a customer for 4-6 weeks, building custom modules, then shipping it back to the platform.
  • Product designers — care about typography, restraint, and the difference between dense-and-clear vs. dense-and-impenetrable.
  • Healthcare operators turning into PMs — you've run intake, dispatch, billing, or RPM at a real operation and want to build the tools you wish you'd had.
  • Sales / GTM — bilingual EN/ES, comfortable with healthcare operators and procurement officers, can hold both conversations.

Send us a note. Resume optional, work samples appreciated.
